Mais Saül et le peuple épargnèrent Agag, et les meilleures brebis, les meilleurs boeufs, les meilleures bêtes de la seconde portée, les agneaux gras, et tout ce qu'il y avait de bon; ils ne voulurent pas le dévouer par interdit, et ils dévouèrent seulement tout ce qui était méprisable et chétif.

But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all [that was] good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing [that was] vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
