Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu'Ezéchias, son père, avait détruits, il éleva des autels à Baal, il fit une idole d'Astarté, comme avait fait Achab, roi d'Israël, et il se prosterna devant toute l'armée des cieux et la servit.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
