Parce que ton coeur a été touché, parce que tu t'es humilié devant Dieu en entendant ses paroles contre ce lieu et contre ses habitants, parce que tu t'es humilié devant moi, parce que tu as déchiré tes vêtements et que tu as pleuré devant moi, moi aussi, j'ai entendu, dit l'Eternel.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard [thee] also, saith the LORD.
